The Hawks start their week on the road on Tuesday when they travel to London to take on promotion-chasing Hampton & Richmond Borough.

The Beavers have struggled to find their form at home recently, failing to win their last 4 games at the Beveree Stadium. This will inspire Havant, who will be looking for their first away win since beating Farnborough 4-2 on New Year’s Day.

The Hawks will hope that a win could see them climb closer to the rest of the relegation pack, while a loss would simply make the gap wider.

Hawks Last Time Out

In a rain-soaked clash at Westleigh Park, Havant & Waterlooville hosted promotion hopefuls Bath City. The Hawks took the lead early in the 13th minute when Alfy Whittingham pounced on a rebound from Ryan Seager’s shot.

Although the Hawks started the second half brightly, Bath City dominated possession, with Ewan Clark causing havoc on the wing. Their pressure paid off in the 85th minute when Dan Hayfield equalized. Bath City had a chance to snatch victory in injury time, but Scott Wilsons miss kept the score at 1-1.

Interim co-manager Cliff De Gordon said after the game that: “That could be a massive point.”

“It was a massive improvement on Tuesday night. We move on and we’re lucky because we’re getting better game by game.”

“As long as we keep pushing them back then we’ve got a chance on Tuesday.”
