It’s a short trip up the A3 as the Hawks take a trip to Farnborough with the hope of their first three points for 4 weeks.

We come off the back of a narrow defeat at the weekend in Champion Hill. Joe Newton was shown red just after the 16th minute for two silly trips. It was all square at the break, and a quick counter attack saw Mo Faal slotting into an empty net to put the 10-men of the Hawks 1-0 up on the hour mark. Their energy soon lowered, and Dulwich took advantage of a deflated Hawks. Powell equalised and capitalised on a Sharman-Lowe mistake, before Porter secured all three points in injury time.

Farnborough, on a decent run of form, have picked up wins against Oxford and Weymouth, as well as draws against Ebbsfleet and Welling. Their most recent result was a defeat to Dartford at Princes Park. The Darts run riot on home turf and went 3-0 up thanks to goals from Statham, Coulson and Bradbury, before Parsons scored a consolation.

HAWKS FORM: LLDLL

FARNBOROUGH FORM: LDWDL

Only Ross Worner and Joe Oastler are unavailable due to injury, Sam Matthews has missed the last few games too.

The last time we met Boro, it was on August Bank Holiday Monday. It was debatable who scored it but James Roberts curled an effort towards goal, it was parried but still destined for the net and McCarthy helped it over the line. The late finish was the difference and meant the Hawks finished August with 16 points out of a possible 18.
