The Hawks take a tough trip to the leaders tomorrow afternoon. It’s a big game for both clubs, Maidstone will be looking to extend their lead at the top over second place, Dorking Wanderers, and the Hawks are hoping to find their way into the playoff places.

Havant & Waterlooville come off the back of an entertaining 2-2 draw against bottom side, Billericay. The Hawks took the lead twice via goals from Payne and Duku but the Ricay put a stop to them, goals from Gavin and Akinwande meant the sides went into the break level. No one could break the deadlock in the second half and it ended 2-2.

The Hawks visit Maidstone following an impressive 3-2 victory over St Albans. A double from the league’s top scorer, Shaun Jeffers levelled up two goals from Corne and Binnom-Williams but in the dying embers of the game, Johl Powell put the final nail in the coffin for St Albans in the 6th minute of added time.

The last time Maidstone visited the Hawks, it was back in November. An entertaining match somehow finished goalless. Since then, the Stones have picked up a total of 50 points from a possible 60 with 16 wins, two draws and two losses. They have surged up the table from 11th, to 1st.

It’s going to be a cracking contest, with both sides looking for a crucial three points.

Other games in the National League South are: Bath v Dulwich, Billericay v Chippenham, Braintree v Hampton, Dorking v Slough, Eastbourne v Concord, Ebbsfleet v Hungerford, Hemel v Chelmsford, Oxford v Dartford, Tonbridge v Welling
