The Hawks make a trip to third place Oxford City who are currently operating with interim managers Andy Ballard and Ross Jenkins after parting ways with David Oldfield.

The Hawks visit the Velocity Stadium looking for their first win since Eastbourne Borough on December 12th. Losses to Dorking Wanderers and drawing uninspiringly to Hemel Hempstead, Billericay Town and Tonbridge Angels has left the Hawks in 10th and Paul Doswell searching for answers.

Following the Tonbridge Angels draw on Wednesday night, Doswell said he was hoping for the Hawks to win 12 of the remaining games of the season, and a winning streak of four or five to push up the table.

The Hoops host the Hawks following the departure of manager David Oldfield who joined Weymouth. Recent results has seen them beat Welling and Slough, but loses to bottom placed Billericay and Eastbourne mean we could see this game go either way.

The last time we faced Oxford City was on September 11th, 2021 when The Hoops visited the Draper Tools Community Stadium. Joe Oastler secured a late goal but it wasn’t enough as we fell to defeat 2-1 with goals coming from former Hawks players Harvey Bradbury and Joe Iaciofano.

Iaciofano and Bradbury are not the only former Hawks to play for Oxford, Goalkeeper Dudzinksi also spent time with the Hawks.

Oxford City host Havant and Waterlooville on Saturday, January 29th, 3PM kick off.
