Ebbsfleet was always going to be a stiff test but thanks to goals from Payne, Duku, Oastler and Clifford, it meant the home side comfortably beat the Fleet 4-2 in front of the loyal supporters at the Draper Tools Community Stadium. The weekend’s victory was the Hawks’ first home win since October.

The Hawks, who are 13th in the league, travel to 12th placed Slough Town in a massive mid table clash. Slough welcome the Hawks with masses of confidence, with the Rebels winning their last two games against Ebbsfleet United and Welling United. Kayani equalised Welling’s opener but Aaron Kuhl’s penalty before the break was enough to secure all three penalties for Slough Town.

Last time the two sides met was an away trip to Arbour Park in the FA Trophy on November 27th. Paul Rooney saw red for a challenge in the box. Aaron Kuhl converted the Rebels’ penalty which was enough to see them progress in the competition.
