The Hawks hope to continue their Westleigh Park form against Tonbridge Angels on Saturday at 3 pm.

In the Hawks’ last outing, goals from Ryan Seager and Alfy Whittingham secured a victory over Hemel Hempstead.

The Opposition:

In their last game, the Angels overcame relegation-threatened Eastbourne Borough.

Both sides were evenly matched until Freddie Carter was sent off in the 33rd minute for a foul on Nathan Odokonyero.

Ethan Sutcliffe took advantage of this, scoring Tonbridge’s opener 5 minutes later. Mohammad Dabre doubled the Angels lead late in the second half making the final score 2-0.

Tonbridge sit in 11th and is the only team in the league to have a goal difference of 0. They have struggled of late on the road, only winning two of their last 9 matches away from home.

On the flip side, the Angels have been in fine goalscoring form, netting 8 in their last 5. The Hawks will have to look out for Tonbridge’s top goal scorer Jordan Greenidge, who has scored 8 goals this season.

The Angels Form:

Tonbridge Angels 2-0 Eastbourne Borough

Tonbridge Angels 1-2 Slough Town

Braintree Town 1-0 Tonbridge Angels

Welling United 2-2 Tonbridge Angels

Tonbridge Angels 2-4 Yeovil Town

Head-to-Head:

The last time these sides met a second half free for all saw Tonbridge take all three points.

Lewis Gard opened the scoring from the penalty spot in the 50th minute, and Jordan Greenidge added a second a few minutes later. Kieran Philips grabbed the Hawks a goal in the 65th minute, but Tariq Hinds confirmed the Angel’s win with an extra time double. The score ended 4-1 to Tonbridge.

The Hawks and Angels have faced off 8 times, with their first meeting coming in 2013. Both sides have taken 2 wins against each other, and there have been 4 draws.
