Havant and Waterlooville vs Weston-super-Mare, Saturday 20th January Kick-Off 15:00

The Hawks will hope to make it three wins on the bounce and keep the momentum rolling when they host Weston-super-Mare, who have struggled for form in the new year.

Last time out the Hawks beat Maidstone United 2-1 at home. Matt Rush opened the scoring for the visitors, but the Hawks fought back and a second half double from Ryan Seager saw the Hawks overcome the high flying Stones.

In their last match, Scott Bartletts men took on National League side Gateshead United in the Isuzu FA trophy, losing 4-3 on penalties after seeing out a 2-2 draw. The Seagulls lie in 18th and have recorded 3 losses and 2 draws in their last 5 outings.

A win could see the Hawks climb above Welling United and be level on points with 21st Eastbourne Borough.

Opposition Form:

Gateshead (4) 2 -2 (3) Weston-super-Mare
Weston-super-Mare 2-2 Dartford
Weymouth 3-3 Weston-super-Mare
Weston-super-Mare 2-3 Weymouth

Head-to-Head:

The sides last played each other in the opening game of the season, where Weston-Super-Mare came out 1-0 winners after Marlon Jackson scored after 32 seconds.

The Hawks have met the Seagulls 19 times in their history, with the sides drawing 7 times and both taking 6 wins each.

Ones to watch:

The Hawks will have to look out for Weston-Super-Mare top scorer Reuben Reid, who has netted 9 goals this season.

Also worth a look at is Weston-Super-Mares 22/23 player of the year Lloyd Humphries. The ex-Cardiff City academy product has played every minute available this season and has been singled out due to his calmness on the ball and ability to command his area.

Team News:

Kieran Philips has been recalled from his loan by Kidderminster Harriers. Everyone at the club wishes Kieran the best for the rest of his season.

Muhammadu Faal has also departed on loan to join Maidstone United for the remainder of the 23/24 Season so will be unavailable for the Hawks going forward.
