Havant and Waterlooville Football Club are pleased to announce the appointment of Natasha Nolan as Head Sports Therapist.

Nolan, who joined the Hawks last season, has been promoted to this new role ahead of the Clubs National League South play-off campaign. She will be working alongside Jake Travis as the pair front the Clubs medical department in the 2020/21 season.

Nolan said, “I am really excited to have been given the opportunity of Head Sports Therapist at HWFC. I began working with Havant in September 2019, playing a large role in the rehabilitation of players from early stages of rehab, to return to play.

“My background as an England International Gymnast drives my passion for working in sports, and that passion goes into everything I do. I aim to uphold a professional environment to support the players and the football club, as we aim to have as close to 100% player availability throughout each working week during the upcoming season.

“By keeping players as fit and ready as we can through both individual programs and the continuation of prehabilitation work, this will give the management team as many options as possible”.

Working alongside Natasha will be Jake Travis, who will be coordinating pre-hab sessions as well as looking after the players both during the week and on match days.

Travis commented, “I’m very excited to be going into my 5th season with Havant and Waterlooville. Tash and I are a young physio team combined with a huge amount of experience and knowledge so we’ll be doing our best to ensure a strong squad throughout the season.

“HWFC is a great club and a club that’s going in the right direction making it a community feel around Westleigh.

“This being said, I’d like all the Hawks fans to know that I will be running a private clinic in the physio room at Westleigh Park for anyone suffering with injuries and in need of treatment”.

If you’d like to get in touch with Jake, you can contact him by emailing [email protected] or by calling 07535047250. He’d be delighted to hear from you.
