Havant and Waterlooville Football Club are delighted to announce that Hawks Radio will be returning to Broadcast from Westleigh Park following a meeting between the Board of Directors. 

Following a hiatus, the first returning Hawks Radio Broadcast from Westleigh Park will be against Torquay United on Saturday 11th November 2023. Hawks Radio will continue to broadcast Away fixtures meaning there will be Radio Coverage of the rest of the Hawks League and Cup campaigns for 2023/24.

General Manager Gary Pratt commented on the return of Hawks Radio “Following the removal of radio commentaries for home matches at Westleigh Park, the club received a number of messages relating to this subject. I can say for certain that the club have listened. 

The club will continue to be front and centre of local community life, and we recognise that at times our community may not always be able to get to matches. This is our way of ensuring that those supporters do not lose touch with The Hawks.

I am thrilled to say that Josh Verroken and Les Hyson will continue with commentary, and would like to thank them and the Board for making this happen.”
