Havant and Waterlooville Football Club are looking for a part-time Social Media and Content Creator to cover our Men’s Team.

About Us:

Havant and Waterlooville FC are a professional football club in the National League South having been established in 1998. The club has grown over the years establishing itself within the local community with its charitable arm, supporting numerous grassroots and youth teams alongside schools, with the installation of its new state-of-the-art artificial pitch.

Duties include:

  • Running the club’s social media output across Facebook, Twitter (X), Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube.
  • Create engaging social media graphics for football club news and events.
  • Editing and producing our matchday programme
  • Matchday content for home and away matches, keeping fans up to date with score updates, goals, line ups and match reports.
  • Press releases
  • Conducting interviews with managers, staff and players (including pre and post-match for every game)
  • Working with our Sales & Events Manager manager to ensure our external sponsors are represented whether it be social media activation, or physical boards inside the ground.
  • Running the club’s YouTube account and producing Matchday Highlights, basic video editing experience is essential.
  • Ability to transfer your skills and help with The Westleigh
  • General administration.

Schedule:

  • 25-hours a week
  • Flexible to include weekends and some evenings (matchdays)
  • Based at Westleigh Park, Havant, PO9 5TH

Experience:

  • Social media content and marketing, ability to write clean copy.
  • Experience in a similar role at any level is preferred but enthusiasm to break into the industry and a passion for working in sport is essential.
  • Adobe Creative Suite, primarily Photoshop and Premiere Pro
  • Video creation and editing
  • Canva, graphic design
