Havant and Waterlooville are delighted to announce the signing of defender Joe Oastler ahead of the 2021/22 National League South season.

Oastler will link up with his former team-mate at Oxford City James Roberts, whose arrival was announced last week.

The defender, who came through the ranks at Portsmouth, has gone on to play for the likes of Torquay, Aldershot and most recently Oxford City gaining a wealth of experience across the National and Football League scene.

Oastler, who spent three seasons at the Velocity Stadium was an ever-present in the side which led to him becoming club captain.

Oastler is familiar with the Havant and Waterlooville FC set up having spent the last three years as the Head Academy Coach.

In an earlier interview Joe Oastler said; “I’m delighted, Paul and I have been speaking this last week and it’s a very exciting time for me.”

Manager Paul Doswell said; “It’s a massive step getting Joe in, he’s a fantastic player, well organised and brings a wealth of experience to the team.”
