Trustee of the Help the Hawks campaign Dan Musty would like to thank the generosity of the club as we hit the £5,000 target for the creation of the new Club Foundation.
Dear Hawks Supporters,
I wanted to thank you for the kindness and generosity you’ve shown at a time of financial uncertainty for many. The ‘Help the Hawks’ gofundme campaign reached the target figure of £5,000 late last night.
This means we can complete our application to the Charities Commission and set up The Hawks Community Foundation in the coming weeks.
We’ll be able to support various groups of people in our community by using the good name of Havant and Waterlooville Football Club and the power of football.
The Hawks Community Foundation will be able to apply for grants through public funding providers like the National Lottery and deliver projects that change lives and help the club and community to grow and thrive.
I am proud to have been able to run this campaign and hope that you all continue to support future Hawks initiatives.
