Ahead of our trip to Dartford in The National League South, we would like to remind Hawks supporters of potential traffic problems concerning the Dartford crossing due to the weekends storms.

Highways England have put out a warning that should wind gusts top 50mph, which the Met Office is predicting for August 10 along with a weather warning issued for the date of our fixture at Princes Park, there will be delays or even closures at the Dartford crossing.

Should these conditions suffice the crossing will have either a reduced speed such as 30mph or worse case scenario shut on either one wing or if too severe shut altogether.

This will cause huge delays on the crossing if in place, so please leave in plenty of time if using this route to get to the game.

We would also like to advice supporters that there is the potential to have winds as much as 40mph and supporters are encouraged in this inclement weather to take extra care when travelling to support the boys.

We wish everyone a pleasant and safe journey to Princes Park!
