We’re delighted to announce that Havant and Waterlooville FC have agreed a new 3 year partnership with HSDC, this takes our longstanding partnership to 15 years. As well as the extended partnership, HSDC have been welcomed on-board as our newest Community Partner; a fantastic addition to our growing partnerships that support our local community projects and ventures.

The partnership enables HSDC’s First Team to play in the Conference Youth Alliance, enter the FA Youth Cup and Hampshire Floodlit Cup and for the first time, their team matches will now be played at the Draper Tools Community Stadium on Wednesdays.

In addition to playing at the Draper Tools Stadium, HSDC will also feature on the Hawks First Teams away shirt in the upcoming season National League fixtures, the club have also donated 250 free season tickets for HSDC students to come along and enjoy the Hawks home league matches.

This is a very exciting time for the football club, who‘ve recently launched their own in-house HWFC Pro:Direct Academy, to be able to increase their Academy offering for the wider community with two very different learning pathways that fulfil a much wider spectrum of learning courses.

For students who enjoy a campus learning environment, HSDC offers this in abundance along with structured learning, whilst giving students the opportunity to study a course that is equivalent to three A Levels and attracts UCAS Tariff Points and is recognised by universities as meeting the entry requirements for courses such as BA (Hons) in Sports Coaching and Development and BA (Hons) Sports Management.

In an earlier interview Paul Doswell said; “It’s great news for the football club, it’s fantastic to have the opportunity to continue supporting HSDC by bringing our longstanding relationship to fifteen years”.

Sam Game, HSDC Academy First Team Coach said; “It’s fantastic to celebrate what will become a fifteen year partnership. The opportunity for students for play football under the HWFC badge and banner is brilliant, and to couple that with providing a strong education is a really nice combination”.
