Havant and Waterlooville Football Club are disappointed to announce the departure of General and Commercial Manager Charlotte Chandler.

Charlotte oversaw the rise in commercial activity throughout the club, and spearheaded the introduction of our popular Platinum Club, allowing members and sponsors to enjoy hospitality during home matchdays.

Everyone at the Hawks would like to thank Charlotte for everything she has done for the club over the last few years.

We are delighted to confirm Gary Pratt will take up the role of General Manager, and Ellie Magri as Commercial and Events Manager.

Gary will also continue his duties as Facilities Manager, while Ellie will be continuing her role in Sales and Events for the Hawks and Westleigh pub.

Gary Pratt said: “It is a privilege and an honour to become the General Manager of this football club. As many of you will know, this club sits very close to my heart, having been a local resident and a keen supporter of the club for many years.

“Havant and Waterlooville Football Club remains a key part of the community, not just as a team, but as a hub for the local area.

“Whilst results on the pitch are clear for everyone to see, I am immensely proud of the work that goes on behind the scenes which has led to the reformation of the Womens side, an increase in academy participants and the introduction of training sessions inside the ground for more than 40 sides.

“With all of this, and our groundshare agreements with Portsmouth Women, Clanfield and Moneyfields, the club has continued to grow and has become the focal point of sport and recreation in the Havant borough.

“In this new role, I will continue to grow this football club working alongside the board, staff, local partners and supporters.”

Ellie Magri said: “I’m delighted to take up the role of Commercial and Events Manager at Havant and Waterlooville Football Club, also working alongside staff members at The Westleigh.

“As many of you will be aware, I have very close ties with the club and I hope to bring my experience and knowledge to my new role in a positive manner.

“I am thoroughly looking forward to working closely with our community partners, sponsors and supporters in making this club the very best in the non-league circuit and I can’t wait to get started.”
