Havant & Waterlooville continue their National League South season on Saturday as they travel to face Hungerford Town.

The Hawks will be looking to get back to winning ways after being involved in a thrilling 3-3 encounter with Braintree Town earlier this month.

Due to many fixtures being cancelled for The Hawks this campaign they have dropped down to 5th in the league but have a minimum of two games in hand over every team above them in the table.

Paul Doswell’s men currently are 8 points a drift from the top of the league but will hope to gain points of their rivals this weekend.

Our opponents are currently at the bottom of the league and after losing their last three league matches will be fully motivated to cause an upset against a strong promotion candidate.

The Crusaders narrowly avoided relegation last season as they finished the campaign in the lower end of the table in 19th.

Ian Herring will no doubt feel confident that his side have what it takes to avoid relegation this season and three points this weekend would do them the world of good.

For the Crusaders three points will not be enough to move them off the foot of the table but will put them within touching distance of a survival place.

The Hawks will see this weekend as a huge opportunity to gain further ground on their rivals who are also looking at playing National League football next season.
