Havant and Waterlooville FC are delighted to announce our partnership with Fitogether – who have become our official shorts sponsor ahead of the 2022/23 season. 

Fitogether have also supplied us with 18 GPS units which allow us to track the players’ data during training and matches.

Our performance analyst, Scott Munro, alongside other members of the backroom management staff use this data to manage fitness levels throughout the season, prevent injuries and establish benchmarks for the players’ training programmes.

The units can track players’ movement on the pitch and collect vast amounts of data on their performance; such as their high speed running, top speeds, distance run, their position on the pitch via heat maps, and their body’s work rate.

Scott Munro, HWFC’s Performance Analyst, said: “The partnership with Fitogether has provided us with an effective and efficient method of measuring the external workload of our players.

“During training and matches we can provide our coaches with real time data and feedback via the OHCOACH App. We can then monitor the physical conditioning and appropriate recovery times during intense training.”
