The Hawks host Ebbsfleet United, in a top of the table clash. Just three points between them, it really is a six pointer.

It was a happy affair at the weekend for Paul Doswell, they left Cheshunt with all three points. Having taken a 1-0 lead in the first half, the side came out with confidence in the second. Roberts got his second, with a second assist from Mo Faal. Cheshunt got one back, but Faal was on the scoresheet which turned out to be the winning goal. Da Silva scored for the hosts in the 5th minute of four minutes added time.

Kutrieb’s side took a trip to Hemel Hempstead at the weekend, and after taking the lead in the first half the Fleet looked to be cruising to victory but a 75th minute Hemel equaliser from O’Connor meant the points were shared.

The Hawks took all six points from the Fleet in their two encounters last season, the most recent being a 4-2 home win. This victory was the start of the Hawks’ turn in form and was vital in a final push toward the playoff places. Payne, Duku, Oastler and Clifford were all on the scoresheet.

In terms of team news, Tommy Wright is still suspended, Josh Passley returns and Sam Magri is still on loan to Gosport Borough. Paul Rooney is two weeks away from returning to full training.
