The Hawks host 5th placed Bath City in another midweek under the lights home clash.It’ll be a tough test for Paul Doswell’s side as injury woes are still a concern throughout, and Bath, like Oxford, are one of the better sides in this league. They will be looking to put their form behind them, the Hawks, as the team suffered two successive losses in two weeks – giving the players their first taste of defeat this season. Last minute heartbreak occurred again on Saturday as a great ball split the backline leaving Ashby to slot it past Worner.Bath City have been flying in recent weeks, two league wins on the trot culminated at the weekend. A 1-0 win over Cheshunt for the visitors was thanks to a Cody Cooke penalty at Twerton Park. The talisman has tallied 11 goals this league campaign, and partnered with Fletcher’s 7, they are firing on all cylinders.The last time the two sides met, it was a 0-0 draw in Somerset.  A last minute penalty for the Hawks came crashing off the bar as Manny Duku failed to convert. It was just the one point for the Hawks across both fixtures last season – the Romans got the three points at the Draper Tools Community Stadium in an impressive 3-1 win.It is yet to be seen whether anyone can return from injury for tomorrow’s fixture. Danny Wright played 45 minutes on Saturday, and Paul Doswell admitted he only just passed the fitness test. Jason Prior is still out, along with Joash Nembhard. Longer term injuries Paul Rooney and Sam Magri are yet to play first team minutes. Tommy Wright played 30 minutes on Saturday, but picked up a red card at the end of the match. He is eligible to play tomorrow.Midweek magic under the lights can bring surprises, and it is sure to be a brilliant match.
