The Hawks will be looking to extend their unbeaten run in a tough trip to Hampton & Richmond Borough on Saturday.

Havant & Waterlooville FC off the back of back to back wins last week. Dover visited the Hawks – in which turned out to be a brilliant victory. The Hawks were playing great football and entered the break 2-1 up thanks to a brace from Mo Faal. The Hawks scored two after the restart through McCarthy and Roberts but Carney managed to score a consolation for Dover in the 85th minute. Those three points were just four days after getting another three at Dartford on Tuesday night.

The Beavers got their first three points of the campaign last week, they executed a brilliant 4-1 away win to Tonbridge Angels – who also started the season strong. Shokunbi’s brace, and goals from Wood and Barzey sealed the three points on the road.

There are some familiar faces for both teams this weekend, former Hawks Alfy Whittingham and Ben Shroll both made summer moves to the Bev – the former making a permanent switch and the latter, a temporary one. Hampton are also very aware of James Roberts, he spent a month at the side last year, bagging two goals in six games.

Last time the two sides met, Hampton visited the Hawks, and it was a triumphant victory for the hosts. Oastler opened the scoring, and a Roberts brace ten minutes before the full time whistle secured all three points – which was during a time of year where the Hawks looked unbeatable.

It’s going to be a tough couple of matches for the Hawks to end August, but if they manage to get a good return, then it has been an incredible start to Paul Doswell’s campaign.
