After three weeks without a matchday, the Hawks finally host Hampton & Richmond.

Tomorrow’s match is the Hawks’ first clash since 7th January after games against Farnborough, Dover and St Albans were called off. Last time out for the Hawks it was a pleasant 3-1 home win against Braintree Town, one which was needed after falling to three straight home defeats. Muhammadu Faal opened the scoring before a delightful free-kick from Benton levelled the scores at the break. Charlie Ruff nodded the Hawks ahead straight after the restart before an ambitious lob from Faal secured his brace and all three points.

Hampton & Richmond have recently had a shift in management. Former Barnet coach Mel Gwinnett put pen to paper as a First-Team Coach and Director of Football role following the departure of good friend of Paul Doswell, Gary McCann. This has come with a shift of players departing the Bev, with Tyrell Miller-Rodney joining the Hawks and other names such as Ade Shokunbi, Tommy Block and Adam Leathers all leaving the club.

Hampton had their game called off at the last minute as they took a trip to Weymouth, so you’ll have to go back to 14th January. It was a stalemate at half-time but a goal from Luis Fernandez fired the beavers ahead, before it being cancelled out by Josh Parker.

Josh Passley still hasn’t served any of his two match suspension so he will be out for this clash – with Ben Shroll potentially replacing him at full back.

The last time we met, it was a 3-2 win on the road for the Hawks on August Bank Holiday Monday. Jake McCarthy opened the scoring, before Wood equalised for the Beavers. Danny Wright got his first competitive goal for the club before Faal secured the Hawks’ two-goal cushion. Ilic got one back but that was all she wrote and the Hawks took three points back to Hampshire.
