The Hawks take on Worthing in a south coast clash an the earlier time of 12:30PM.

Callum Kealy brought one back for the hosts but Blackwell’s second half goal meant Chelmsford took home three points.

For the Hawks, it was a tough 1-1 draw at the weekend. Greenidge opened the scoring with the Angels’ first shot of the match, before Miles handballed for a penalty. James Roberts mishit the spot kick with both feet and although he scored, it was ruled out. Faal got a late equaliser but the Hawks probably felt they should have gone home with so much more.

In terms of team news, when writing, Jason Prior is waiting on a scan on his shoulder after the weekend’s match, Tomas Kalinauskas returns from international duty, and Paul Rooney made an appearance at the weekend as he returns to fitness.

The last time we faced Worthing, you would have to go back to 2016 in the Isthmian League. On both occasions it was the Hawks who were victorious, a 3-2 home win and a 2-1 away win. Current Hawks Jason Prior was on the scoresheet in the first.
