The Hawks are back at home as we host St Albans City in the Vanarama National League South. The Hawks desperately need a win as they go into it looking for their first league home win since October.

We go into this home clash off the back of a defeat in Oxford. The Hawks led the game until the 83rd minute when a turnaround saw the Hoops get three goals in quick succession. Paul Doswell will be hoping to get on the winning streak which is desperately needed.

St Albans will prove a stiff test, the side currently sit 9th in the league and will be full of confidence after beating Slough Town 1-0 at the weekend. The players and manager, Ian Allinson, hope the weekend’s result is key to turn around their recent poor form as of late.

The last time the two sides met was when the Hawks visited Clarence Park at the beginning of the season. On 25th September 2021, The Saints defeated the Hawks 1-0, due to an own goal by Joe Newton a minute before the half-time whistle.

The Hawks welcome St Albans City to the Draper Tools Community Stadium on Saturday, 5th February 2022, 3PM kick off.

Other matches in the National League South are: Dulwich Hamlet v Chelmsford City, Maidstone United v Bath City, Braintree Town v Eastbourne Borough, Dartford v Welling United, Hemel Hempstead v Billericay Town and Chippenham Town v Concord Rangers
