The Hawks can announce the departures of Lucas Sinclair and Sam Dowridge.

The young pair have left the Club for personal reasons amid the Covid pandemic.

Both players have been staying in accommodation provided by the Club, but due to the current situation understandably the pair of them would prefer to be with their families at this time.

Manager Paul Doswell wished the pair of them well and said: “Covid has meant that both of them have been staying in a house for weeks and weeks on their own, in a room self isolating. 

“Both of them asked me a few weeks ago they wanted to go home, and be living back with their parents and whilst in a normal year it would have worked out perfectly for them in the house, with this year’s events they both felt they wanted to be closer to home.” 

We would like to place our thanks to both Lucas and Sam for their contributions to the Club this season and we wish them well at the start of their careers.
