Following an incident at our National League South game against Hampton and Richmond Borough on Tuesday August 6, Hawks vice-chairman Tim Mellor has sent this message to the Beavers:

I want to thank you and your club for the support you gave our collapsed spectator last night. Everyone involved was delighted and grateful for the support that he received from Hampton & Richmond FC.
Can you pass on our thanks to your players particularly to the subs who brought the issue to everyone’s attention. Your stewards were very supportive in his evacuation. Can you please pass on our thanks and gratitude to all concerned.
The good news is that he has made a full recovery.  His friend says that he is back to his cantankerous ways that morning!!

Everyone concerned with the club are pleased that the supporter has made a full recovery and thank everyone involved with Hampton and Richmond Borough Football Club for their swift, professional and first class handling of the situation.
