We are delighted to announce that we are looking for a candidate who is experienced to work in our kitchen, to take us to the next level.

You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations. You will be also responsible for guiding the kitchen forward and helping staff in serving the best quality food.

Your main goal will be to ensure the kitchen area is running smoothly especially during busy hours. You will be held accountable for food handling and food preparation as well. You should be maintaining and managing inventory levels on a regular basis. You should ensure the food that is prepared and served adheres to all the food safety guidelines.

To be successful, you should be able to pay attention to details for accuracy. In addition to this, you should possess incredible leadership skills and great conflict solving abilities. You should also have exceptional communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing the kitchen and helping team as per their capabilities.
  • Supervising the food preparation and its process.
  • Checking the inventory levels and restocking them on time.
  • Ensuring that the kitchen is clean and tidy at all times.
  • Maintaining proper plating arrangement for serving food.
  • Making sure that the client is fully satisfied with the food.
  • Working closely with the management teams, and other team members.
  • Adhering to all the hygiene standards.
  • Training the new employees as per the designation.
  • Storing food items in a standard and hygienic manner.
  • Preparing monthly cost reports and presenting them to the higher management.

 Requirements:

  • Proven experience within a Kitchen or a similar position in the Hospitality industry.
  • Working knowledge and experience with various kitchen equipment.
  • Ability to work in a team as well as individually as and when required.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of kitchen safety regulations.
  • Ability to maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen.
  • Amazing verbal and written communication skills.
  • Great ability to solve problems.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work for long periods of time and on weekends as well.
  • Good time management skills.
  • Excellent management and organisational skills.
  • A keen eye for detail.
  • Great ability to work in a stressful and fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional people skills and physical stamina.
