Havant and Waterlooville Football Club can confirm the launch of its Under 23s team for the 2023/24 season.
The Under 23s side will boost the player pathway from our current U19s academy, with an option to enter our higher education university courses.
The new team will be playing in the Hampshire Combination and Development League, within their midweek Under 23 section.
Gary Pratt, General Manager of HWFC, said: “The club are looking to nurture homegrown talent to potentially progress into the First-Team squad, and we feel this path will only go to enhance that.
“We, as a club, have worked incredibly hard to get this over the line and am delighted we can launch this in time for the 2023/24 season.”
