Havant & Waterlooville are delighted to announce the staging of our Summer 6-a-side Tournament for a third year, as well as a new event taking place in the February Half Term.

The Stadium and grounds provide the perfect setting for local youth teams to experience and enjoy gameplay at the home of the Hawks in an elite sporting environment that will inspire young minds who already have a passion for football.

Facilities Manager, Gary Pratt said; “I’m delighted to announce that the club are going to be holding the Summer 6-a-side Tournament once again this year. The event will give an opportunity for over 180 grassroots youth teams to experience playing inside the stadium, and we are really excited to see many teams who enjoyed their time with us last summer.

Furthermore, the Boys U9 to U12 age groups, where possible, will have teams separated in groups based on current league standings. This is likely to result in two separate competitions being run per age group, a Cup Competition and a Plate Competition. Our aim is to provide competitive football for all teams, and this trial, if successful, will then transfer across all age groups in the future.

In addition to this, we are thrilled to be able to provide extra opportunities for youth players to play here at the Draper Tools Stadium, by hosting a Spring Youth Tournament during the February Half Term break. The event, taking place on Monday 13th and Wednesday 15th February, will be available to those sides currently playing in the U7 to U12 age groups, and will no doubt be an exciting experience for all.”
