The Hawks are delighted to announce the signing of Kai Innocent from National League South side Eastbourne Borough.

Kai, who started his career at QPR, impressed during his time at The Sports – the best crossing stats (as a left back) in the league.

The 22-year-old isn’t shy to get forward, and knows the work needed to get up and down the wing.

He made his switch permanent at Eastbourne after two successful loan spells, and knows the pressure of this level. His debut? An FA Cup penalty shootout. The fifth and final spot kick fell to Kai and he slotted it home.

Upon joining, he said: “I felt like this was the best opportunity for me to come in and try and get back to the football league.

“I want to play as high as possible, so for us to get promoted, it would put me up to the next level.”
