The Hawks face Dulwich Hamlet this weekend following a week’s break after Tuesday’s trip was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.Last weekend, we got back to winning ways with a professional 2-0 win over Hemel Hempstead. Set piece goals either side of the half-time whistle from McCarthy and Faal was enough to see out the match in terrible weather conditions.Dulwich Hamlet have had a poor start to the season, given their standards. Last weekend however, they got an emphatic 3-2 win over Hampton & Richmond. Owusu scored twice – one being a 90th minute penalty winner. Danny Mills was the other name on the scoresheet to hold onto the three points. On Tuesday night, they faced Bath City but the match was abandoned just 10 minutes in following an injury to Romans’ forward Fletcher. Thoughts are with Alex and his family at this time.In terms of team news, Brad House has joined the Hawks on a three-month loan following Ross Worner’s knee injury he suffered last week. Paul Rooney was due back for this fixture but he has now been ruled out for another couple of weeks. The last time the two sides met was a happy road trip for the Hawks. We visited Dulwich Hamlet in the midst of our winning run at the end of last season – Manny Duku’s goal from a second half counterattack was the difference.
